Great Basin Life exists … between … high desert expanses and majestic mountain wilderness.

Daily, I watch the winds of change sweeping away what remains of our western culture and heritage, and the land that has produced them.

My mission is to preserve as much as I can, of that which will soon vanish, through my photography.

    Outstanding! …Instant Fav Arla!

  • Thanks, Susan!

I love this photo, given to me by the daughter of the woman on the left. It hangs in my gallery, as a tribute to the lady who lived there before my cousin bought the place.

the original was scuffed and scratched, and I left some crinkles just to keep it “authentic”.

Arla, this is priceless – I just love it!! A great group to put it into is “Out of the Past!” Excellent!!! :))))

  • Thanks, Polly! I do love that photo!

I am a member of that wonderful group — but — since the original is not my own work, I think I should keep it in a group dedicated to authentic old photographs. :)
