Stone Madonna
Blue Mass was so named by early settlers who perceived the enormous rock formations that dominate the meandering canyon, as religious icons.
Passing through Blue Mass – walking among these stone giants – is a spiritual experience, indeed!

Hi, Arla! I’m so angry! This work is copyrighted since 2004. Moreover, it was exhibited. Lol!!! Amazing capture, dear Arla! I’m so glad you did that drive. I cannot wait to see more images from that amazing place. That is nothing but gallery of stone sculptures. :)))

It is an amazing, magical place! The rain put a damper on my excursion, but think I got some good ones.
