Mr. Campbell got himself a new house somewhere on the beach and forgot all about it…......

Congrats and compliments! Nice picture that generates a very special mood full of controversial sentiments. I admire your artistic eye and add you to my favorites. I often go to your mySpace page and the Great BasinLife.com to admire your pictures. Don’t stop! Good luck!
Arla M. Ruggles
Arvy! I think you might be a TINY bit prejudiced … but I appreciate your support no less for it!
When shall we see some of YOUR great photos??
arvyart
Yes, I’m. We all do the same. When somebody earns our trust in some field we become a bit prejudiced. Isn’t it?
Thanks. You’ve just recommended yourself as a prejudiced too :). If I would think the same my pictures were on display already. However, I check the pics for the bristlecones under the “trees”. All the captures came from the White Mountains, CA. Perhaps I should start “saving” the honour of NV and win fame for it. Lol. In earnest, I believe NV is #1 bristlecone state. Yes, I have some plans for the future.

very nice…this is what it looks like today, Easter in the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado…surprise winter storm rolled through….you have wonderful work, I don’t have time to comment on all of them….so I will add you to my watch list for future work!
Arla M. Ruggles replied
Thanks so much, Jody!
Colorado and Nevada are a lot alike. Spring here is a rolly-coaster of contradictions – snow on the blossoms; winter one day, spring the next … repeat ….
I greatly apreciate your comments—and fav!

Coincidentally, yesterday I “bumped into” a descendant of the late Mr. Campbell. Turns out, the family didn’t go far – just about 65 miles south.
So nice of them to leave that car for future photo ops! :)

Oh the memories of the high desert Nevada snow. I really do miss it down here in Texas where snow may come one or two days a year – if we’re lucky.
Great shot! Thanks for sharing you work.

I absolutely love this, Arla! Here where I live in northwest Illinois, while not as barren or as vast as the West, I often come across abandoned vehicles and barns (and homes)—always so intriguing! What happened? Where did they go? This photo has ” a million” silent stories to it… also, an extreme desolated beauty. Wonderful! A fave
Arla M. Ruggles replied 12 days ago
Thanks very much, Nadya!
It is one of my favorite car shots. :)
