I am the oatmeal explosion.

I’m a photo major in the Twin Cities, but arts that I have partaken of and enjoy run the full gamut, minus pottery/clay. It makes me a little sad to not be able to post more than pictures of some of my other projects, but I feel like such pictures would be out of place.
I also enjoy bonsai and mathematical theory.

A former engineering student, art has always been my greater interest. I’m gifted with my hands in a great many ways, and have yet to find something that I’m not at least relatively proficient at when using them. I often feel that I am a product of bygone eras stuck in the modern age, as most of the methods I work by and enjoy are the way things were done decades and more ago, and most of my tools have been inherited from parents and grandparents. I find great pleasure and a sense of calm from the tactile connection to my tools and materials when taking the time to work something out by hand.
