I make pictures for more than 40 years and I used to make myself my prints in B&W and in colors, with my little labo. (That was a great mess in the bathroom !) I came to digital photography in 2000. I was very disappointed with the results at that time. In 2007 I bought a Canon EOS 5D and invested some money in calibration tools for screen and printer, good softwares to edit my raw files, and a professional printer. Now I’m happy again with the result. If my pictures are bad, the technology is not the one to be blamed !
I’m not a photographer interested in exploring deeply and deeply one or two themes. Sometimes I make pictures only because I think that the subject is beautiful, sometimes because I want to give a matter to think about. Both are sometimes converging in my best pictures. I like to live my life of photographer in this wide room. The only certain thing is that I like ‘well made’ pictures, not snapshots, I am a never satisfied maniac, and I work a lot on them even if the editing is not visible at the end. All my pictures are taken in raw format and manually edited with Dxo Optic Pro, then some of them are post edited with PS. And to finish with talking about me, I’m terribly slow when I take my pictures, and nobody wants to have a walk with me when I have my camera:-)))
