    Thanks Kelly I would say I was within 30-40 feet away. They were eating peacefully so I thought I would move in a little closer and suddenly they exploded into a fight. You think I would have learned by now that it doesn’t take anything to happen for them to start fighting.

    Amazing ferocity. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the ears pinned back that flat on any animal. And you answered my question, how close were you, above. What do they think of you being there? Hard to imagine you’d be a target for attack, they’re not preditors are they, but they do make a stand. It’s stunning.
