Fantastic Gene, the icey blues sure set off the bison. It makes me wish the big herds still roamed though.

What a stunning scene. The layers of ground, water and mountains in this gorgeous light and colour are wonderful in themselves but with the buffalo it’s a fantastic image. Add to that the way this gives the viewer a historical nudge and you’ve created a real winner here.

Such a wonderful capture Geno…......with their thick winter coats, they don’t bat an eye when the snow falls….....LOL….......

Once you see Bison in the flesh your world just changes!.. Excellent capture.. I didn’t they were anywhere other then SD and Wy.. Very cool shot Gene!

What a stunning backdrop for such a magnificant creature! It would be wonderful to be able to have a place to see such beauty. The city is beautiful in its own right but not like this. Nice shot!

The first time I saw bison in Yellowstone I thought I died and went to Heaven..lol.. this is one truely magnificent animal and one to be respected. Beautiful peaceful capture Geno.
