No Tim I was fortunate enough to be standing as they were running towards me. They usually will still come in to the watering hole if you stand far enough away. I have a pretty good lens and can usually keep some distance between us.

They don’t seeem to be affected. The BLM of Utah has piped water to the watering holes so they have water year round, which was the biggest concern in the desert.
