Wild horses in Utah’s west desert. Instead of heading to the waterhole for a drink the horses kept stopping at the patches of snow and eating it.

The horse in front looks like some of our Montana mustangs. Do they have any of the primitive European Spanish markings such as zebra stripes on the legs or a black strip down the spine?

This herd does not have any of the Spanish markings. I know that some of the herds farther south do, but I haven’t had a chance to go down to any of them yet.
