Can’t thank you enough for the places you bring us. Wonderful intensity of colors, the bits of blue beneath his stomach are great shaping forms. I’d guess at his probable courage and bravery from his battle scars, what strength in him! And although he’s like some ancient larger than life gladiator, one wants to embrace and know him and be part of his life, and (this) one even fancies he’d say okay. You’ve made them all accessable, Geno. Nice work. You never let us feel apart.

I love painting white horses, the same way I have trouble with dark ones, on white they show every vein, muscle, twitch, and dark ones hide them. Like my old art teacher said,” how do you paint a shadow on a black cat at night? A lot harder than you do on a white one!” then he showed us how.
