Brisbane Old Government House by 


The original Government House Brisbane, is situated next to the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and Queensland University of Technology’s Gardens Point Campus. It was recently restored to its former glory by QUT.

Built in 1862 for Governor Bowen, the house is a beautiful example of colonial architecture and one of Brisbane’s chief heritage landmarks.

Joanne is a Melbourne photographer who undertook a Bachelor of Photography at Queensland College of Art, majoring in Photographic Art Practice. Her favourite subjects include landscapes, seascapes, national parks and gardens, and urban cityscapes.
