I used to have a fear falling
I’d awake terrified and trembling
My heart would race.
But then I grew up
And I realised
Falling can not hurt me
Now I throw myself from the ledge
Tumble downwards
Faster
My stomach aflutter
And the thrill rolls through me.
My only fear now is landing
And what kind of mess I will find myself in
Splattered on the ground
Or if someone will catch me
Ready
Set
Jump

...you never cease to amaze Jo! (with your words and pictures)
Mark German
The good thing, Jo, is the landing only takes a brief moment, while the enjoyment of falling lasts a whole lot longer :)
Danny
It’s all relative
depending on the height
the speed of the plunge downward
and the size of the crowd gathering to watch
And most importantly
The crowd’s reaction
Suzanne German
Hey Jo! feel the fear and do it anyway…sounds great!....
Adrian Carmody
Flying is the art of throwing yourself at the ground, and missing
