a night on the town
Yesterday Teer Wayde and I hit the town for a coffee and quick photo shoot. Basically, we mucked around trying things for an hour or so… then we discussed giant fish. And then I lost my glasses and went stumbling back through the city to find them. Here are a few of my favourite shots from the evening. Enjoy :)

They’re all pretty cool but first image = wow.

oh what fun! how did you go focusing without your glasses?

Thankfully I lost them at the very end, then walked 3 city blocks before noticing they were gone. I’m utterly amazed that I got them back!

so glad you did. from someone who would run into or trip over many, many things if I lost mine. great shots Jo. xx

In Feb, I lost my glasses in the bush (I’d swapped them for sunglasses) after a day-long shoot. I drove 3 1/2 hours home before realising. I knew exactly where they were, and planned to go back up and grab them the next weekend. A week later the area burnt through. Shit. But more importantly, I got not a single image anywhere near what you have in this journal entry.
(FWIW, I have something of a history in the glasses dept.)

I want to say something supportive about your glasses incident, but I’m laughing way too much

Such gorgeous images. My son snapped the arms off my glasses just the other day – it wasn’t until then that I realised how much I couldn’t do without them!!

I have nearly lost them so many times now. I’m saving up for a second pair in preparation of the inevitable

when I started wondering back I never expected to find them, but by some sort of magical fluke they are now safe and sound on my head and without a scratch

The second one is my favourite, especially with the split-screen choice. Nice.
