Trash The Dress Shoot
Hien is one of those wedding photographers you tell all your engaged friends about. I know that one day when someone makes an honest woman out of me, I’ll be a-knocking at his door. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when he invited me to come along to a ‘Trash the Dress’ shoot and spread my creative vibes and help with art direction. And like I could pass up the chance to watch a couple of lovely normal individual’s run amok with paint and scissors?
It all started off fairly normal and wedding like…
Then we had a change of scenery…
There was some pleading…
But it was futile. The idea of getting covered in paint and ripping apart a perfectly good wedding dress was just too delicious to pass up :)

oh i love this, I have seen trash the dress sites before and I am addicted to them, although, none have been this creative, the use of colour is magnificant, looks like a fun time was definately had :0)

Eeek! I would cry if I had to ruin my gown… I almost cried when my cousin put chocolate cake on it. Haha… although, it does look like a lot of fun :)

omg….taking 400 hundred shots to come up with six postables is a bit like fishing with dynamite….. but I have to say its a fun shoot and a great location to be doing it in…..looks like you all had a lot of fun…..those allyways look awesome and inspiring…almost enough to get a sydneysider to melbourne just for that alone

haha that’s so cool, as mentioned i’d only ever seen someone do the whole swimming in the ocean deal to trash their dress. nice touch with the paint and a great setting for the shoot.

looks amazing fun, i have heard about these shoots they havnt really taken off in the uk yet, i think people are too worried about wasting money on ruining a good dress!! I would rather be covered in paint – if the truth be known!! Great work
