Hiya Jo, the addition of the ship definitely makes this shot. It really balances the image.

Paul (of course) has done great PP work here too. The lighting direction and balance on the ship matches that of the overall image very well. Also, the scale of the ship is spot-on for its apparent distance.

The distressed look (scratches and blotches) looks great and suits the image.

I love the colour saturation… very much like an old polaroid.
