Avast Ye!

Avast Ye! by Jo O'Brien

Avast Ye!

I think deep down I have a bit of a thing for pirates. When it came time to do this shoot I seemed to have an awful lot of pirate accessories just lying around waiting to be used. It was good to get it out of my system. Only problem is now I can’t stop thinking of excuses to take more pirate photos. So if anyone in Melbourne feels like playing dress ups with me, drop me a line

The red rust on the artillery piece is a nice contrast for the shot. Your collaboration with Helen I think is doing wonderfully, some really good and fun stuff!!

Having drooled – I mean ogled – oh crap, studied this photo several times, it finally occurs to me to ask how this monster cannon came to be parked on a beach.

It’s not on a beach, thanks to my good friend photoshop, it is pretending to be on a beach :)

Seems like this is a great commercial image. As to what exactly you might be selling is open to discussion :-) .

I am now quite sure you are my hero. At one time you were simply cool. This pirate fiasco puts you over the edge I must say.
