The Enchanted Wood

The Enchanted Wood by Jo O'Brien

The Enchanted Wood

My tribute to play time, magic, and imagination.
My protest against every adult who told me to stop daydreaming about things that didn’t exist

Paul Louis Villani is my new personal hero. I just love working with him- he’s just so much fun and knows how to make my wildest imaginings a reality. THANK YOU PAUL. Look how awesome he made this shot!!! And it was all done on location in camera. Gah! Brilliance.

model and flash operator: the lovely Sam Brown
camera guy and all round softy: Paul Louis Villani

I love in-camera imagery (what it all should be, really!) and this is one of those shots that you just couldn’t do in Photoshop! It just wouldn’t be real.
Great concept through to brilliant execution.
