The Port Elgin and North Shore Railroad:

A 1 mile ride along the Port Elgin Harbour into North Shore Park and back on a 24 gauge steam train. In July and August the train runs 5 times a day everyday except Mondays.

Port Elgin is situated on Saugeen Shores.

Saugeen Shores consists of the amalgamated communities of Port Elgin, Southampton and Saugeen Township; on the lovely Lake Huron Shoreline.

Saugeen Township with its agricultural and natural appeal, Port Elgin which is “truly a family destination” and historic Southampton, “oldest port on the Bruce coast”.

Location: Port Elgin, Saugeen Shores on Lake Huron, Ontario.
