This osprey was captured in Thurso, Quebec, Canada.

The Osprey is a species of bird of prey diurnal average size and is a specialist fish-eating and cosmopolitan.

This raptor, singular in morphology, is quite different from other raptors.For this reason, his ranking on the phylogenetic tree is highly controversial: several hypotheses have been issued, but the most prevailing hypothesis that species closer to Hawks , among other family formed by the eagles , the nozzles and the vultures of the ancient world.

    Extenders always take some sharpness away but it is acceptable in this photo

  • Thx bunch bro, yes in this one it shows more taking into account the distance and the speed of the bird and the light conditions.
    At least, I have one of an osprey. This is my first and hopefully, this summer I get a better one :)

    Great capture – I’ve yet to see one in the wild, although they are breeding again in the UK.
