A restored historic site rooted in time: ref: http://www.mcq.org/en/cipr/index.htmlNicknamed “the cradle of French civilization in America,” the Place Royale extends to the site where Samuel de Champlain began construction of a fortified post in 1608.
The buildings are then built as the King’s stores, serve primarily to trade furs with the Indians, who were occasionally places for fishing and trade their products.
