Place Royale.
We can see Chateau Frontenac at the top of the image, located on the upper Old Quebec City.
The Escalier du Quai-du-Roi, is ornated at the bottom with an wrought iron resembles the ancient Quai du Roi during the Regime français and was located near by.
The stairway goes from Petit-Champlain street to boulevard Champlain and was constructed at the end of the 19th century.
