Always nice to see the Blue-Faced Honey-eaters enjoying the fruit in my garden at Greenethorpe NSW Australia. This is a mature which shows clearly why it has its name.Canon 40d, 400mm f5.6L

I love photography and especially bird photography which is one of the most challenging and beautiful of subjects. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I had taking them.
Nice shot Phil. This one is older and more mature than the other one.
Thanks mate, it’s slim pickings for the birds at the moment with the hot dry weather. Good to have visitors to the garden. I’ve also provided a bird bath and the visitors to it are amazing, they really appreciate some water in the hot weather.
