eeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Phillip this is an absolutely great shot. You should be sooooo proud of it. Great clarity. I’m impressed. What lens did you use? (in other words..how far away were you?)

  • Phillip Weyers replied

Have to agree with the quality comment… I used my wife’s little point and shoot Nikon at about 30cm away, full zoom (3x)... a nice piece of glass eh?

Great shot Phillip, although I dont think the technos will be happy to hear you used a ‘point and shoot’! Sometimes they dont do too badly hey?

  • Phillip Weyers replied

Thanks Steve… the ‘point and shoots’ may have their limitations but this one sure produces beautiful clarity.

Oh GOODNESS!!!! < slapping self on forehead with palm of hand > HOW do you get such amazing detail!!!!! This is glorious!!!! And I do hope you were using a nice long lens … if not … have you counted your fingers lately??

  • Phillip Weyers replied 9 days ago

These guys are all bluff really… just a show to make you think twice about eating him… I used my wife’s little Nikon for this, it has a nice quality lens though only a 3x zoom.

OMG! What is in the world is this? One look at that snarling face would send anyone packing. Great capture!!!

  • Phillip Weyers replied 9 days ago

They are ‘plucky’ critters these…Bearded Dragons, and lots of them around here. They certainly put on a good show, but will run away quickly if the bluff doesn’t work. Thanks Marjorie.
