What an excellent close up, Phillip. Good on you. Great detail and colour

  • Phillip Weyers replied

Thanks Moorey… yep I snuck up on this one and being a very windy day it didn’t seem too eager to decamp. I was hoping to get one of it in flight but it took off as I was changing cards.

A magnificent capture of this beautiful bird. I love your profile photo! I am from Echuca/Moama on the NSW of the NSW/Victoria Border. It is great to be a part of RB. I am just starting to download some of my photos. I love all your bird photography – I am a very keen bird photographer and will soon start placing some of those on RB when I have a moment. Look forward to seeing more of your wonderful work.

  • Phillip Weyers replied

Thanks Chris… appreciate your kind comments. There’s nothing like photographing birds, they are a challenge and beautiful subject matter. I will keep my eyes on your portfolio also.
