YOUR COPYRIGHT IN DANGER

This is a simple Christian based, Jesus-centric breathing meditation which helps relaxation, brings calmness and feeds the spirit as it is wholly focussed on the name of Jesus and on Biblical verses.

It’s also a good spiritual exercise as well, anytime.

The basic method is quite straight forward….

You sit/lie and relax as best you can. Just being comfy is a good start! Then close your eyes and just breath in a regular and slow manner. Don’t force it or exaggerate it. As you slowly breath in, say in your mind the first syllable of JESUS – JE…. and as you slowly breath out say in your mind the last syllable of JESUS – SUS.

Breath IN ….. JE
Breath OUT ….. SUS

Repeat this several times, or until you feel in the rhythm of it.

Once you are starting to get into…

Having been on Red Bubble for nearly 2 ^1/~2 years, I’ve reached the place where I need to re-examine the whole thing. Sales have been disappointingly small, but that’s the way things go sometimes.

On the positive side, having contact with so many inspirational artists from around the world is beyond price.

There are other places just to display photos (Flickr for instance) as well as on FaceBook, and so I’m wondering on the value of staying on RB. What would make me sad would be to loose contact with so many on my watchlist whom I have come to respect as artists. Of course, a number of those are also on FaceBook, and so it would be great, in any event, to maintain contact that way.

They are a company who produce ‘consumer art’ i.e. Art for the masses, that people can buy in shops and stick on their redecorated lounge walls. It may be art for the masses, but if you hit on a popular image it can make you money. I recently watched a TV prog about consumer art, and it featured them. It was very interesting. I’m seriously thinking of signing up. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

12th July 09 – I guess some folks may have wondered where I have been (or maybe not – ha ha).

At New Year I got a dose of ’flu which seemed to clear and then came back much worse. That seemed to take up most of January. Then I got Pneumonia which took up most of February. I was pretty much out of my head for about 3 weeks.

At the beginning of March the herniated disc in my back, which had been nagging at me since Autumn 2007, decided to stop nagging and go for it. As a consequence I was in almost constant considerable pain, couldn’t walk for further than 10 yards, stand for more than 5 minutes, or sit at all. So this kinda distracted me from all extra-curricular activity including RB.

But, the good news is that my doctor got the wheels moving and I got an MRI w…

There is a particularly wicked scam currently targetting artists, so far only in the UK as far as I am aware.

you get an email with a heart-rending story asking to sponsor a young Ugandan person’s fees to St. Paul’s Nursing Training School in Uganda. There is no request for bank details (the usual modus operandi), just a request for a very specific gift in the form of a cheque, for an amount like £385.

You will even get a thank you letter, and a couple of months later, a progress report about how well the young person is doing.

BEWARE – IT IS ALL A SCAM

The British High Commission in Kampala, Uganda confirms that the St. Paul’s Nursing Training School does not exist.
