All that Jazz

While we were briefly encountering Carnforth Station, in the room next to the re-created Refreshment Room, there was a Jazz Band Playing. I didn’t find out their name.

Of course, being a guitarist, I felt obliged to selectively feature the guitar. For those of you who care about such things (you know who you are!) it was an Ibanez AFS75T.

The observant among you will see that there is one other coloured object in the frame. A poster announcing David Lean’s centenary.

    was this in a studio? how did you decide to frame this shot the way you did. and if you would, how did you frame this, just curious. nice shot. I am also into jazz. never had a chance to be this up close and personal though.. very cool

    not a studio. It was the just the room next to the Carnforth Station refreshment room where the band were playing. So I just took some shots. The selective colour was because I’m a guitarist and the red really stood out. On of the reasons I framed it like this was because there was a lot of clutter around the band which was easier to eliminate completely this way! A pragmatic approach I guess..
