A Storm A'brewin'
Taken late on in ‘07 looking across the Dee Estuary from West Kirby, Wirral, towards the Welsh hills.
Loramae, inspired by this photo (I am honoured) has written, Perfect Purpose which I duplicate below:
Perfect Purpose
Threatening low in the spirit…
Certain scents waft through the air…
Human eyes cannot yet behold it…
But your heart tells you it is there.
Awakened abruptly to a second sense…
That visits uninvited to a mind…
A storm is building in the distance…
The selfish winds will not be kind…
Ah…one thinks to hurry to cover…
Invent a list to somehow prepare…
But how does one hide from something…
That has not yet appeared…?
Gird your fearful heart with His promises…
Embrace His words unto your very soul…
Lay your anchor in God Almighty…
Maker of the stormy winds that blow…
This storm has Perfect Purpose…
Nothing has ever caught Him unaware…
Rest assured that you are not alone…
In the midst of this approaching storm,
He, your Lord, is there.
