Her hair tied back in ribbons of time
and rainbows glistening rain.
So now I see her pretty face
without the squint of pain.

Her shoulders bare in a strapless dress
so pure and formed for kissing.
No longer awkwardly tensed or flinched
those demons have gone missing.

Around her waist and cinched on hips
a belt of whitest gold.
So now I see the way they sway
A new freedom makes her bold.

Upon her feet are diamond slippers
each with a single pearl.
No longer cautious, happily skipping
I’m loving this re-made world.

Yes yes yes…it is a new day, it is a new world.
Love this, Baf. So warm and joyous.
Makes me want to skip and dance the day away.
