for those that didn’t read Frank McCourt’s brother’s book (Frank wrote Angela’s Ashes)...his brother Mulachy wrote ‘A Monk Swimming’ and it is a child interpretation of part of the Hail Mary (prayer)...that goes….”blessed are thou amongst women…” which both Frank and his brother thought said a monk swimming as children!
