This is my second trip to Africa. Kruger is a must visit, especially when my wife’s parents live within two hours. One of the excitements about the park is that you just never know what you’ll see. You hope for the Big 5, but don’t always get to experience them all. I had seen everything but a leopard until two days before our departure back to the states. This evening at dusk we sat within 20 feet of this leopard for nearly 40 minutes. He hopped from branch to branch, and gave us quite the memorable experience. The sad part to the story is that it was so dark that I had to shoot with a very high ISO setting, resulting in a very noisy digital file. This image is available for purchase as an art print, however you will likely see noise in the final print depending on the size. Cards should print nicely though.
