I am fascinated by the rhythms of life, by the elements, and by human emotion. I spend my time reading, philosophising, eating good food, drinking good coffee (or wine) and laughing (and sometimes crying) with friends. I’m quite a simple person with complex ideas and emotions. Is this possible?

Writing

The Final Act - A Catharsis

Infuriation is such a destructive emotion, and Diana is torn between fulfilment and a nauseating terror at seeing Irma provoked by mere lack of reaction.

Taming of The Shrew

‘This wilful shrew, she will be tame, / I’ll pound her down before I’m lame.’ / That wretched weakness snarled unheard, / But the goddess was not furled.

She and The Sea

“Let your feet be swept from the ground, Le petit mort is sweet and sound.”

The Silent Storm

Sweeping veils are coating none. / While fanfares groan a death. / Sound and laughter, all are gone. / Except the strong wind breath.

The Autumn Tree

Standing naked, reaching out, / Searching for the sky. / Darkened clouds release the snow, / Silencing her cry.

The Man in The Moon

‘Relax, have faith, release your fears, / Be not ashamed to show your tears.
