I too would like to pledge all of my art work in my portfolio that sells for one month go to this appeal there’s quiet a few people doing it on their own which is great to see but I reackon it has more impact if it all can be added together these funds from the sales would be greater in one hit.

Dear Redbubblers/my friends
I will be forwarding this on to Red Bubble Admin, From the 9th of February 2009 till 9th March 2009 any sales profit that would be coming my way i would like to donate to the Victoria Bushfire Disaster appeal.
I will also be donating blood at the red cross and I urge all Australians to do so. I am scared of needles but people need us.
So far 108 people have been killed and 800 homes destroyed, this is the worst fire in Australia’s history.

I have pledged any sales of any item in my portfolio for a month

I will pledge all the cards that sell from my portfolio in the next six months.

It’s actually a new calendar I have pledged, not an image. I upped the margin to 100% increase the potential donation. Therefore, Still a bargain for a worthy cause. For every one calendar sold $120 gets donated!!

How do we go about making a pledge? is it right on this page or elsewhere?

Just sold the first calendar to Juni. Thank you Juni! That’s $80 from me (the entire retail price plus matched 100%) going to the Red Cross appeal and $40 from RB! cool!

In light of the great support shown by RedBubblers for the fire victims, in addition to profits from my two images that I have already pledged, it will be simpler if I pass on profits from all RB sales from my portfolio for the next three months (eg end of April).

I congratulate my RB colleagues for their efforts as well, makes one proud to be a member!!

I also congratulate all RB members, also makes me very proud. Would love to offer any work of mine if thought suitable.

This is great …but I’ve donated to the Red Cross now. It is at this time that the victims need aid urgently …so while people are looking at donating the future sales of work ..please also look to the present.
Also blood is needed ..please go to the Red Cross Blood Donation scheme for this.

This is great I was wondering about setting something like this up as a group but here it is already, fantastic I pledge any profits from my work for the next 4 months.

Sorry, to avoid any confusion – I will be donating my share of the sale proceeds (the profit element or that amount I would usually receive) to the appeal.

As much as I would like, i’m not in a position to match the manufacturing costs. Sorry for any confusion over the wording.

Hey count me in, all profits from my work for the next 6 months to the appeal! Just wish I could go there, just to lend some sort of help, I just feel so bloody frustrated! I knew a lot of people in these areas and I’m just waiting for the bad news

Does anyone know if its possible to donate the money we already have lying with rb from past sales to this?

As a volunteer firefighter and having experienced the devistation first hand as it happened, and also due to the fact that I have lost loved ones in the recent fires, I wish to donate any profits made through sales of my works for the next six (6) months, unfortunately I also apologise as I am unable to donate the manufacturing costs at this stage

Ok I am a little confused, I read that I needed to message Redbubble support to be able to do this so I sent them a email asking them to donate everything until the end of August 2009, ?

Sales of these of my works will be donated to the Victorian Bushfire Reflief Fund.

I have also pledged print sales from a painting we get bad fires here in Southern California usually set by someone and it is always sad to see these people that have lost everything but the loss of life in this fire is just heart-breaking.

I have pledged all profits from all works until the end of April.

My thoughts are with those who have lost in this sad time, a time Australians will have etched in their memories for their lifetimes.

I too would like to pledge my earnings of any of my sales to this appeal. I would also like to give RB a great big hug for what they are doing. What an outstanding group this whole site is. Just looking at all these kind people on this list brings tears to my eyes.
