I am an artist who is captivated and inspired by world cultures and the written symbols societies have used since the beginning of time. I see all three-dimensional objects as art be they naturally occurring or man-made materials. My work integrates and celebrates the beauty in the relationships between objects that usually are not found together naturally. A new, appreciative look at everyday objects that we take for granted in terms of the our visual experience is what I’m after. The examples on this site are representative of work done from 1999 to the present. Major influences include Dada and Surrealism, my grandfather’s workshop and Asian and African art.
To describe the end product of my efforts, I seek to create surreal fantasticness that enchants and sings.
