Those on the evening tour paddle away from the shore at Lake EIizabeth in the Otway National Park(formed by a landslide in 1951) in search of the elusive platypus, one of Australia’s unique mammals, in it’s natural environment.

marvellous work Phil.
Haven’t been to visit this lake for a few years Phil, good to see it again. Some lovely walks to be had around there, it’s very peaceful with only the sounds of wild birds echoing through the forest.Luckily it’s fairly hidden from high density tourism traffic.
Excellent HDR Phil …
Beautiful imagge and HDR work Phil.
I may venture out that way myself Phil looks like a great way to spend a day, beautiful shot my friend.
Beautiful image. Looks like alot of fun. :o)
Great shot of the lake, have not been there for ages I thought they only had early morning tours.Nice to have met you in person last Friday hope we met again one day with less people around.
Surely any self-respecting Platypus would be put off by those bright colours. :)
