"S Bend"
This section of the Great Ocean Road, near Cathedral Rock, is probably the most famous part of the road, as it has been used in quite a number of advertisements particularly for cars and other automotive services. Drive the road here and you will experience it about 1min30secs into the clip.

Great pic Phil. Very colourful. We have a bend like this in WA on the Brand Highway and it’s actually called the “S” bend. It’s famous also for its “S” bend caravan park, but we won’t talk about what it’s famous for.

We have a very similar looking coastline here on O’ahu. You’ve given me inspiration to attempt this same type of photograph there (when the weather is nice again). Usually I try to avoid asphalt and road signs but this works quite nicely. Thanks for the head’s up for the video as well… I made the virtual road trip several times already.

Reminds me a bit of Highway 1 here in California. That ocean is such a deep blue, so pretty. Amazing color in your pieces. Perfect composition with that S curve. Makes me want to run off to the beach.
