Hey Phil, this is soooo well suite for the HDR technique. That lighthouse is jumping right off the screen at me in 3D. You couldn’t ask for a better placement of the rainbow. The composition, color, and lighting all culminate together into a wonderful image. Well done, my friend!

I really love this shot, and for several reasons: Two of them are that the light-house is off-center which nobody seems to be able to do, and because the rainbow is really bright and gorgeous. Both of these things add interest-plus to the photo and make it outstanding rather than just a nice pic of a landmark with a rainbow, ho-hum.
Did you think of putting it in the Group Rainbows? I think they’d love it!
