"All That Remains"
The old boiler house and chimney stack are all that remain of the Phoenix Wool Scouring Works, Marnockvale along the Barwon River, Geelong. Built in 1919, like a lot of woolen mills in the Geelong area, it had its heyday in the 1930’s – 1950’s.
This image was taken on a very cold Winter’s afternoon, just after a severe rainstorm prior to sunset.
