Wow Phil. What you captured here is just amazing! Beside being a fantastic photo to look at with the eyes, this photo really touches the soul!! This photo tells us that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Life is hard and we all have battles to fight. During the course of life we all get scarred. The tree in the foreground looks like it has fought many battles and looks battered and beat but is still standing strong. The sun in the background is telling us that if we persevere and keep our faith we will find the light at the end of the tunnel. Bravo Phil!

And Bravo to Dave as well….I agree wholeheartedly with him….couldn’t possibly have said anything better… Well worth getting up early to find such an image. Amazing to think that this trees roots go down into the soil as deeply (to obtain it’s nutrients) as the branches go high (to receive the light)

Absolutely amazing Phil. Everything about this is just gorgeous and mystifying, lovely how the light plays through the branches so softly, and the mist just kind of mixes it all up. The shape of the tree limbs is really spectacular as well. This was a really fabulous scene you captured my friend..;-)
