Incredibly beautiful, the whole picture but most especially the sad noble defender of what’s gone. And you remind me that when I lived on a huge farm in Virginia I painted a similar gate turquoise at the entranceway. It just flew out at you for the color. You’ve made a beautiful photograph here.

It’s beautiful! You did a great job on the pic. And it’s good your family kept the old homestead.
