The James Dean phenemenon had to have happened the way it did. If he was alive I really don’t think he would’ve acquired as much fame and glory as he has been since the opposite happened via Riverside, California in 1955. I had literally shedded tears many times watching his cinematic ingenuities. My father had idolized him from way back. Even looked like him during the latter’s younger years. I love James Dean and EVERYTHING about this Americana legend. There will never be another phenomenon like JD. Although I think Johnny Depp comes as close to having that Deanian mystique with regards to Depp’s persona and cinematic contributions.
