Not for nothing is the buddleia’s nickname the butterfly bush, and this one in our front garden attracts clouds of them on a sunny summer’s morning. Looking closely at it you can see the attraction: each of these hundreds of little flowers literally oozes nectar – insect paradise! (Buddleja Davidii “White Profusion”)
