    This is stunning. I live in Gippsland but have never heard of the lakes being bioluminescent. Is it always like this or a rare occurence?

    I’ve seen bioluminescence in the Lakes on a few occasions but generally it is pretty faint. Last year was amazing.. a particular combination of effects from the fires and flood in the year or two beforehand. Not likely to be repeated but you never know!
