Another image from the beach at Saltburn by the Sea on the north Yorkshire coast. The sky had been gentle pastel colours, then this ominous cloud raced in over the sea carrying with it a snow storm. Suddenly the light changed and the strong blues of the sky, reflected in the water gave an amazing contrast to the soft evening light.

I returned to photography a few years ago after a long break. My ambition was to make images of some of my favourite places. Discovering the work of photographers has also encouraged me to explore new horizons.
If some of my images give pleasure to others, then that makes it even more worthwhile.
