After Michelangelo (La creazione dell’uomo) for the central part, the famous two hands reaching!….a humble tribute to the Maestro and to Jazz music, making them meet on a canvass.
I had the idea of painting a modern Jazz version of the ceiling of the sixtine chapelle…Am I mad? yes I am!
Acrylic on canvass – 100×70cm
Born in Paris on thursday December 23rd 1957 at 3.am (isn’t it accurate?) I studied at the fine-Art academy “les Beaux-Arts” in Paris then travelled almost the entire planet working mainly as a decorator and meeting great artists from everywhere.
Now I live in north-Italy with my wife and our four boys and I currently exhibit in various country of Europe…waiting to go further..

This is just beautiful!
Brilliant strokes and concept. I like your interpretation of Michelangelo.
Thankyou Erika, actually, I was thinking for a long time to try to make another version from this famous detail of the Maestro’s painting…..a “remix”!
