The reason we may over gamble would be to accumulate flagrant wealth maybe. Yes I have over simplified but it’s more emotion than poltically sound possiblily. One aspect of the US crisis, is that we may have bought a pup. The reasoning of the obscene sums being paid to those who argued they were worth it was “good financial management services”. This did not happen over night and was done by many.
