Oooh, Russ, Sweet! Background makes me think of Anton Piek, just got that tonal quality to it.
Thank you Elisabeth…my mother used to make Decoupage pictures from Anton Piek’s work so appreciate the connection..
Beautiful! Canada geese?
LOL…they’re over there on vacation…just like me…
You just made me very homesick for the peak district and I do remember this bridge very well and the delicious Bakewell tarts. Nice capture and processing
I’m pleased that the image appeals to you…I used to walk over this bridge almost every week when I was at college in Buxton, used to hitch-hike back to Chesterfield and it was often a spot I got dropped off..funnily enough I never appreciated it’s beauty back then…now years later and living on the other side of the Atlantic, I love going back to capture the beautiful countryside and villages.Thank you.Russ.
You’re welcome Marilyn.
Awesome capture Russ.
Thank you Julie…
Top image Mr S, love the processing giving the photograph an aged feel
Very nice, didnt realise that the country we both left was so pretty….x
I think you appreciate it more, when you look back at it…I know that i took the picturesque countryside for granted…love going back now.xo
An absolutely gorgeous shot
Thank you, sorry for the late reply…must have overlooked it…appreciate you taking your time to have a look at my work.:~}
