I’m new to this site and have been viewing a lot of the art here but I have to say this is the first piece I’ve seen where I had to stop and make a comment. What an exceptional piece. What strikes me in particular is the way the light breaks through the broiling storm clouds and highlights a small patch of white flowers—as if moving the viewer into a space of calm and peace while the rest of the painting pulls out feelings of fear, loss, forlorn, anxiety. That poor little elephant! Who could not have pity or feel sympathy? Just an amazing piece. I’ve looked at some of your other pieces and, so far, this is my favorite. It is definitely my current #1 top RB pick. Very imaginative.
