who has finally found her place
next to another
in a lovely constellation,
where we will sparkle in the heavens forever.
I hold out my hand to you
And through the mists you step
Into my life
Where you were always
destined to be
you pull at my heart,
stirring my mind,
Our love vanquishes time.
A moment can be eternity,
and yet eternity can be
the ticking of a clock.
It is the only bow on life’s dark cloud.
the mother of Art,
and it sheds its radiance
softly upon the quiet tomb.
It was the first to dream of immortality.
It fills the world with melody,
for Music is the voice of Love.
Love is the magician,
the enchanter,
that changes worthless things to joy,
and without that sacred passion,
that divine swoon,
we are less than beasts;
but with it,
earth is heaven
and we are gods.
