1920’s homestead kitchen looking into living room and a bedroom
the stove is a Quick Meal Stove Co. of St Louis Miss,
probably about a 1920’s 1930’s
coverted to propane gas at some point
the back looks burnt out shows lots of use
these stoves were good bakers ,food had a better taste then today’s
modern ones good give us
taken in south western Saskatchewan,
with Olympus DSLR E 510/ 14-42 Zuiko lenes

WOW!!! WE HAD ONE SIMILAR WHEN I WAS A KID IN THE YUKON….FAR RIGHT SIDE WAS A WELL TYPE HOLDER FOR WATER.IT WAS MY JOB TO KEEP IT FILLED WHEN THE STOVE WAS ON…IT HEATED THE WATER. SEE…... ALL THE MODERN CONVENIENCES IN THE WORLD. NOT!

Wouldn’t I love to have my own range like that big blue beauty! Even the old house would be nice- the trailer floor we have is falling out from under us. . . We just haven’t been able to haul everything out of the place to get it done as yet. This is just a delight to look at! Glad I stopped in!
