This is a shot of West Rock Park in New Haven, Connecticut: the place where I proposed to my then-girlfriend of five years. (This isn’t the exact location—there’s a small island jutting into the lake about a quarter-mile from here where I popped the question—but that didn’t photograph as well :)). She said “yes,” though part of me suspects she was only in a good mood because the surrounding area was so beautiful.
